Hi, I’m Aric, owner and operator of Big Dog’s In Home Canine Care—and a lifelong dog lover through and through.

 

I’ve been a dog owner for as long as I can remember, and over the years, my love for dogs has only grown stronger. They’ve never just been pets to me—they’re family. Being responsible for my own dogs has taught me how much love, attention, patience, and care they truly deserve, and that belief is at the heart of everything I do.

 

Before starting this business, I spent 27 years as a school teacher. While I loved my time in education, I retired and had the opportunity to focus fully on what has always been my true passion—making dogs happy.

 

If you ask my friends and family, they’ll probably laugh and tell you that whenever I visit, I end up spending more time with their dogs than with them (and honestly… they’re not wrong, lol). There’s just something special about the connection we share with dogs, and I genuinely enjoy every moment I get to spend with them.

 

Starting Big Dog’s In Home Canine Care has allowed me to turn that passion into something meaningful—providing loving, dependable care to dogs while giving their owners peace of mind. I treat every dog as if they were my own, because that’s exactly how I believe they should be treated.
